Sculptra for the Face
Gradual Collagen Support for Facial Rejuvenation
Sculptra is an injectable biostimulatory treatment made with poly-L-lactic acid. Rather than acting like a traditional hyaluronic acid filler, it is used to stimulate a gradual collagen response in selected treatment areas.
It may be considered for patients seeking progressive improvement in facial volume, contour, firmness or skin quality. Results develop over time and treatment is usually planned as a series rather than a one-time instant correction.

Concerns Sculptra May Address
- Generalized facial volume loss
- Temple hollowing
- Cheek and lateral-face support
- Selected lower-face contour concerns
- Changes in skin firmness or texture
Sculptra is not suitable for every facial area or every patient. It is generally not used as a direct substitute for precise lip shaping or other small, highly mobile areas.

Results and Maintenance
Initial fullness from treatment fluid subsides, and collagen-related change develops gradually. Individual response varies. Maintenance needs depend on age, tissue quality, lifestyle, treatment plan and personal goals.

Aftercare and Risks
Temporary swelling, bruising, tenderness and palpable firmness can occur. Massage instructions may be provided when clinically appropriate. Other risks include infection, asymmetry, persistent lumps or nodules, inflammatory reactions and unsatisfactory results. Patients must follow the specific aftercare plan and contact the clinic regarding persistent or worsening concerns.

Sculptra Face FAQ
Is Sculptra the same as filler?+
No. Sculptra primarily supports collagen production over time, while hyaluronic acid filler provides more immediate structural volume.
When will I see results?+
Changes develop gradually and vary between patients. The early post-treatment fullness is not the final result.
Can I combine Sculptra with other treatments?+
Combination care may be appropriate, but sequencing and timing require an individualized plan.
