Hyaluronic Acid Dermal Fillers
Restore Volume and Refine Facial Balance
Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers are injectable gels used to support facial structure, restore selected areas of volume loss and refine contours. Hyaluronic acid is naturally present in the body, but commercial filler products differ in firmness, flexibility and tissue behaviour.
Dina selects the product, amount and technique according to the treatment area, tissue quality, anatomy and desired outcome. More product does not necessarily create a better result.

What Fillers Can and Cannot Do
Fillers may improve contour, proportion and volume-related shadows. They cannot stop aging, duplicate surgical lifting or guarantee perfect symmetry. Some concerns are caused by muscle activity, skin laxity or bone structure and may require a different treatment approach.

Consultation and Treatment Planning
The consultation includes medical history, medication review, previous filler history, facial assessment and discussion of goals. Dina may recommend a staged plan to preserve balance and reduce unnecessary product use.
Depending on the area and plan, treatment may be performed with a needle, cannula or a combination. Comfort measures are discussed before treatment.

Results Recovery and Follow Up
An immediate change may be visible, but swelling can temporarily exaggerate or obscure the final result. Bruising, tenderness and asymmetry from swelling are common during early healing. Final assessment should wait until the treatment area has settled.

Important Risks
Common effects include swelling, bruising, tenderness and temporary lumps or firmness. Other risks include infection, prolonged swelling, inflammatory reactions, nodules, product migration and an unsatisfactory cosmetic result. Rare vascular occlusion can damage skin or, in exceptionally rare cases, affect vision. Patients receive information about warning signs and how to reach the clinic urgently.

When to Seek Urgent Help
Contact the clinic immediately for severe or increasing pain, unusual blanching or colour change, cool skin, mottling, rapidly worsening swelling, visual symptoms or neurological symptoms. Vision loss or stroke-like symptoms require emergency response without delay.
